Tomorrow marks a pivotal moment in American history.
While lawmakers in Washington continue to bicker over spending bills, healthcare reform and the quality of Bangerz — leading the country toward an inevitable gov-uh-ment shutdown at midnight — Britney “Hotney Godney” Spears, future US Secretary of Labor, is currently addressing the lesser-basics in Congress with a robust strategy: “Go call the police. Go call the guv-a-nah. You better work, bitch.”
While the “Mmm Papi” living legend tirelessly fights to keep our politicians in their seats using various distraction techniques, including buh-kinis and mah-tinis, she’s decided to simultaneously bless us all with the premiere of the Ben Mor-directed clip for “Work Bitch,” the lead single from her forthcoming eighth studio album, tentatively titled Blackout 2.0: It Gets Urbaner And Also More Spearitual And A Little More Personal (Raw).
The already iconic video, which she’s been teasing over the weekend, will premiere on the CW Network — home of such urban programming as America’s Next Top Model, The Carrie Diaries and The Vampire Diaries — at 9:34 EST (followed by a VEVO premiere at 9:40 EST).
