We’re less than two weeks away from the release of Britney Jean, the Legendary Miss Britney Spears‘s Most Personal Album Ever Of All Time In The History Of Ever Ripped Straight From Her Dear Diary.
Last night, Britney teamed up with BJ Executive Ruiner of Dreams will.i.cant, Ryan Seacrest and Real Housewives mastermind Andy Cohen (sure, why not?) to play five (5) Britney Jean songs — “Alien,” “Perfume,” Tik Tik Boom (feat. T.I),” “It Should Be Easy (feat. will.u.not)” and “Don’t Cry” — for industry insiders and journalists. (And no, I was not invited. Bitter? Who? LOL. What? No. Why should I be sad? Heaven knows. STRONG BRADLEY.)
According to various initial reports from the event, the most important details gleaned from the party were that she enjoys eating “Sushi & Skittles” in the studio (perhaps a sequel to “Lace & Leather” is in order?), that “a lot” of the album had to do with her break-up with Jason Trawick, and that she wants you to be inspired — not only uplifted in the Spearitual sense, but at the gym too! “I want people to listen to it and be inspired,” she said, “to work out and have a good day.” (Oh, and will.i.cant did a whole lot of talking too.)
But that’s not all!
Earlier today, The Ellen Show aired a special segment, in which Sophia Grace & Rosie — otherwise known as Britney’s only real and true friends in the industry — broke into Brit Brit’s rehearsal space in Las Vegas for Viva Las Vegasney: The Bitch Is Back. The girls got to learn some sweat-inducing “Work Bitch” choreography before surprising the soon-to-be 32-year-old pop star with a birthday cake, complete with princess crown and sparkly head mic. Sophia Grace remained a chatty legend, while Rosie served a fair share of side-eye and indifference to the whole thing. Rosie was all like: “Now cut the cake, bitch!”
Adorableney.
‘Britney Jean’ will be released on December 3. (iTunes)
