It’s officially Aquarius Season, and Tinashe is up to some very exciting things for 2015.
One of the most exciting new things of all those things? A collaboration with Sucker punk-pop princess Charli XCX for a feature on an upcoming Ty Dolla $ign track called — wait for it — “Drop That Kitty.”
Ty confirmed that he’d collaborated with both Charli and Tinashe on his upcoming record during an interview back in January, and then Charli awkwardly tip-toed around the question in a recent interview as well: “I was working on a song for another artist and then Ty came on worked on it too, and it became this song. That’s all I can say.”
And then all of them showed up on set in Los Angeles for the video shoot last week — along with Wiz Khalifa and Keke Palmer! — so that kitty’s truly out of the bag, y’all.
Charli and Tinashe. Together on one song. Charlinashe. What more could a boy ever ask for, really?
