Look! It’s Shontelle‘s new video for “Perfect Nightmare,” the amazing lead song off of her very good new album, No Gravity!
The clip, which appears to be some sort of PSA about the occupational hazards involved in boxing, was directed by Colin Tilley (who just did Ciara‘s “Speechless”). Here are some things it features:
+ A lot of slow-motion.
+ Lockers.
+ A man with delicious, rock hard abs.
+ Brick walls.
+ Some dancing in a hazy, smoky brick room of some kind.
+ Angst.
+ Torment.
+ A long ponytail.
I’ll admit I would have liked to have seen Shonteezy bust out some serious hair whippin’ during the song’s chorus, but when all is said and done, there’s really only one thing that matters:
NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY.
“Perfect Nightmare” is Shontelle’s next single, although I can’t find any specific information on the release.
Err–in the meantime, check out No Gravity. (iTunes)
