Afrojack simply cannot be stopped. (And like Miley Bird, he also cannot be tamed.)
After the worldwide smash success of “Take Over Control,” his collaboration with Eva Simons in 2010, as well as the explosive success of Pitbull‘s “Give Me Everything (feat. Ne-Yo & Nayer),” which peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in July of 2011, the Dutch DJ/producer has teamed up with soulful Dutch trio Shermanology for his latest cut in 2012: “Can’t Stop Me.”
“If this was the last dance of the night, would you join me ’til the morning light?” Dorothy ponders off the top of Afrojack’s latest club banger. With the blazin’ beat drop that follows shortly thereafter, who could ever say no?
All in all, it’ s a complete and utter dance floor smash, like a Dutch spin on Aussie club-poppers Sneaky Sound System, and if you haven’t already encountered this one in the discotecas stateside, you will very shortly.
Oh! And lest we forget, the producer is currently in the studio with Shakira, and he’s also executive producing Queen Paris Hilton‘s upcoming sophomore House-inspired record. That Afrojack reign just won’t let up!
“Can’t Stop Me” was released on February 14. (iTunes)
