While Kelly Clarkson‘s been spending her time sitting atop the Billboard Hot 100 (like, literally on top–she’s #1 in the country for the second time with “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”!), she’s already gearing up for the release of her third Stronger single: “Dark Side.”
Although there’s been much debate/yelling regarding rumors over the past few weeks (“I Forgive You” was originally thought to be the next single), the OG American Idol confirmed to MTV News Canada that “Dark Side” will, in fact, be single #3.
And I say…YES, MA’AM!
“Dark Side” is one of my favorite cuts off the record by far (apart from “You Love Me,” “Honestly” and “Let Me Down,” of course)–the perfect blend of My December angst and Breakaway Top 40 radio playability. Will it be as commercially viable as “Stronger”? Well, it’s sculpted by the same genius pop producer Greg Kurstin, so…maybe! Fingers crossed!
