LITERALLY BREATHE IN, BREATHE OUT AND SHUT THE FUCK UP BECAUSE IT’S ABOUT TO GET SO GOOD.
Three long years ago, MuuMuse Domestically Foreign Special Affairs correspondent and resident Madonnalogist David R. excluusively broke the news to MuuMuse that pop princess and fellow Chosen Person Rachel Stevens was “looking into” recording a follow-up to one of the past decade’s most perfect pop albums ever–2005’s Come And Get It.
She eventually did hit the studio, resulting in a dire children’s album that no one wanted, so we’re all choosing to pretend that didn’t happen.
Now, there’s hope for something we’ve all actually been waiting to hear.
Just seconds ago, Richard X–producer of Come And Get It–tweeted this:
@MsRachelStevens hey there, hope you’re well, come and see my new drum machine collection sometime @17days wants us to make a CAGI sequel x
!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The tweet confirms at least three things:
1.) Richard X is ready and willing to record a follow-up to Come And Get It with Rachel Stevens.
2.) Richard X really enjoys fucking around with fans’ emotions on Twitter.
3.) David (@17days) is The Great Savior of Rachel Stevens stans everywhere.
The time is now, Rachel fans. Wait–what do we call ourselves, exactly? (She came way before Gaga started naming all her cult members “Little Monsters.” Rachel Stevangelicals? That’ll do.)
Tweet Richard X. Tweet Rachel. Tell them we want–nay, we need this to be real and actual. Tweet all the live-long day. Tweet all the live-long night. And if you somehow feel weary, or feel like you need to sleep or eat or go to the bathroom, just remember that you’re potentially depriving yourself of another this…
Now tweet until your fingers bleed.
