When Lady Gaga isn’t too busy transforming into a centaur, stanning for Olympians, doing drugs, threatening bodily harm to Carly Rae Jepsen or stealing Madonna‘s Live at The Olympia moment by tweeting out posters from her upcoming debut movie role in Robert Rodriguez‘s Machete Kills, she’s all up in the Haus of Gaga Tattoo Parlour getting inked.
Today, Mother Monster tweeted (or rather LittleMonsters.com-ed) a photo of her newest tat along with the caption “New ink new album.” (Please, no one tell her they did it backwards by accident.)
The title?
ARTPOP.
She also revealed some new song lyrics for the Little Monsters: “We could, we could belong together.” Mariah is pissed.
Mother Monster’s album title is solid, if only because it can’t be confused with anything–like the Pet Shop Boys PopArt, or the words FartFlop or ChartFlop. It also goes along with her life mantra that art is a lie and that every day, she works to make it her truth, which is a lie because her lies are truthful, so stop lying. (MuuManifesto: 12-18 1974.)
VIVA LA ART. VIVA LA POP. VIVA LA ARTPOP.
Thank you to an anonymous Little Monster for the ChartFlop reference.
