And now for something completely perfect. (Or so it seems…)
The trailer for Baz Luhrmann‘s The Great Gatsby reboot for the New Generation has arrived today, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan.
Not only does the movie look absolutely gorgeous, dazzling and grandiose (much like Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge), but the soundtrack is positively the stuff of dreams: Sia, Florence + The Machine, The XX, Emeli Sandé and of course, Lana Del Rey. (Also will.i.am, but let’s not talk about it. Also, Beyoncé covering Amy Winehouse. Can you please just not though, Bey?)
To reiterate: Leonardo and Lana, both happening together. At the same time. It just makes me feel like…
And,to make a stellar situation even better: Queen Lana’s “Young and Beautiful,” previously known as “Will You Still Love Me When I’m No Longer Young and Beautiful?” (listen to a clip of her giving an acoustic preview during a radio interview), will be the lead single from the movie, scheduled to be released (with a video!) on April 23.
