Saint Lana Del Rey has blessed our unworthy souls with a second tease of her upcoming mini-film, Tropico.
The 24-second clip — double that of the first trailer — gives us a glimpse of Lady Lana with her co-star, model Shaun Ross, giving you that suh-suh-summertime sadness in the Garden of Eden as Adam and Eve Del Rey.
And lo and behold, there they are: Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, John Wayne and Jesus “J. Chiddy” Christ — the almighty grouping of pop culture icons. And what’s that playing in the background? A little “Body Electric,” yes? “Elvis is my daddy, Marilyn’s my mother, Jesus is my bestest friend…” Looks like it’s about to get a little #Controversial…
When’s Tropico coming? In about two weeks, supposedly. But remember — patience is a virtue.
‘Born To Die: Paradise Edition’ was released last November. (iTunes)
