Truth-telling hip shaker, Voice judge and short term memory loss sufferer Shakira is back with a new album this week. It’s called Shakira. And if you write it out, it’s “Shakira, Shakira,” which is something Wyclef Jean says quite frequently.
The shape-shifting album is an eclectic blend of world sounds, jumping from the Brazil-inspired (please RT) dance floor euphoria of “Dare (La La La),” to the epic arena rock of “Empire,” to the reggaeton infused “Can’t Remember To Forget You” (her Sapphic duet with RiRi), to the country twang of the Blake Shelton-assisted “Medicine,” to revealingly #SomethingMorePersonal acoustic guitar ballad, “23.”
Can’t remember to buy it on iTunes? Don’t worry — there’s still hope.
MuuMuse is giving away 3 copies of Shakira.
To enter to win, simply leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite song on the new record and why. (Haven’t heard it yet? It’s streaming now on Spotify and Beats.)
3 winners will be selected and notified on Tuesday, April 1. Enter now — I dare you. (La la la). Good luck!
‘Shakira’ was released on March 25. (iTunes)
