BLESS THIS HOLY DAY OF POP HAPPENINGS.
Lana Del Rey got us dizzy in love on “West Coast.” Robyn and Röyksopp are about to Do It Again. And now, Girls Aloud goddess Cheryl Cole is here to hair flip all our cares away.
Last week, we got a first look at the Rankin-shot behind-the-scenes snaps of Chezza’s new L’Oréal Paris Féria Go Extreme advertisement — and the premiere is already upon us.
Amazing things about this ad include, but are not limited to:
• The hair-flipping
• The flippage of the hair
• The flaw-free colo(u)r of the hair (which is actually great actual advertising for L’Oréal Paris)
• THAT FUCKING WINDMILL HAIR FLIP MOVE, WHAT EVEN
• The moves in general, which formally cements Chezza as the Queen of Street Style
• The set kind of looks like Britney‘s “Hold It Against Me” video. (Also, both were directed by Jonas Åkerlund, so it’s basically a sequel.)
Clearly the influence of Kween Nuhdeen remains strong.
Now then, let all this dancing and hair-flippage be a tiny tease of what’s to come from Cheryl’s upcoming 2014 comeback album. PRAISE CHEZZA!
