Street dance icon, parachute non-needer and hair-flipping L’Oreal Paris goddess Cheryl Cole is officially returning to bless our ears — in less than a week’s time.
“Crazy Stupid Love,” the first song off of Chezza’s highly anticipated studio album due out later this year, will impact UK radio on Monday (!!!), along with her first live performance (!!!) of the track on the Britain’s Got Talent finale on June 7.
From her jaw-dropping, booty-popping Instagram above:
I am so excited to be able to share some music news with you !! My new single Crazy Stupid Love featuring Tinie Tempah is released July 20th!! you can hear it on radio from Monday #CSL
Wait, but a feature from Tinie Tempah?
It’s fine. (will.i.am was featured on “3 Words,” after all.) And I did meet Tinie once a few years ago (#TINIEBRAG) and he was quite nice, so maybe the feature will be, too. That’s how it works, right?
Regardless, it’s now time to mentally and emotionally prepare.
UPDATE: And now, a series of VERY EXCITING statements, courtesy of the official press release.
The new single, featuring Tinie Tempah, is a blast of feel good pop.
The song sees Cheryl reunited with songwriter Wayne Wilkins who also wrote her million-selling debut ‘Fight For This Love.’
The video for the single, directed by Colin Tilley, will premier on VEVO on 9th June.
He also did Little Mix‘s faith-reviving “Salute” video.
‘Crazy Stupid Love’ is the first single taken from Cheryl’s forthcoming as-yet-untitled album which will be released this autumn. For the new record Cheryl has worked with writers and producers ranging from Sia and Greg Kurstin to Nicola Roberts.
SIA. GREG KURSTIN. AND…NICOLA. ROBERTS.
Aloud forever.
