Apparently it’s the week of Big Pop Announcements: After Charli XCX announced her upcoming sophomore record Sucker and Tinashe announced her debut album Aquarius — both of which are VERY exciting — “Habits (Stay High)” Swedish darling Tove Lo‘s just provided details of her upcoming debut album, the amazingly titled Queen Of The Clouds, due out on September 30.
The title of the LP, as you’d know if you’re a fellow Little Tovester, is a lyric from her Truth Serum anthem “Not On Drugs” which, conveniently, just got a kaleidoscopic, Color Run-friendly accompanying video today to match the lovedrunk track. Watch it baby, please…
The upcoming album is split into three parts: “The Sex,” “The Love” and “The Pain” (#StoryOfMyLife), and is described in the official press release as a “highly personal and brutally honest body of work.” But is it as personal as Britney Jean? We’ll just have to wait and see.
The tracklisting goes a lil’ something like this:
My Gun
Like Em Young
Talking Body
Timebomb
“The Love”:
Moments
The Way That I Am
Got Love
Not On Drugs
“The Pain”:
Thousand Miles
Habits (Stay High)
This Time Around
Run On Love (QOTC Edit)
And, in case you were somehow still going through Tove withdrawal, she’s also going out on a North American tour this fall too. Now that is some flawlessly executed all-in-one promo in one day.
It’s Tove Lo-verload!
