Britney Spears & The “Indefinite Work Hiatus”: Emergency Britney Podcast Episode

In an emergency podcast episode, Bradley & T. Kyle discuss Britney’s announcement of the postponement of ‘Domination’ and her “indefinite work hiatus.”

Well! 2019 is certainly starting off on a very left-lane, kinda different note from the Living Legend, Miss Britney Spears.

Four days into the New Year, which also happened to be the day before my 30th birthday (it’s fine – this wouldn’t be the first time she’s traumatized me on My Day), B-Girl abruptly announced an “indefinite work hiatus,” including the postponement of Domination, her now-infamously announced forthcoming Las Vegas residency, in order to be by her father’s side as he recuperates at home after a sudden colon rupture that landed him in a hospital and nearly killed him two months ago.

There are a lot of feelings on the matter – the first and foremost being well wishes to Papa Spears and the whole Spears family.

That said, it would be a lie if I said I was surprised by the news – sans the health update. I genuinely had no idea, and feel deeply for her family. Still, there were some growing concerns on my end about this particular show, the creatives involved, the public’s interest, and the general information we’d been given up until this point about what was happening behind-the-scenes.

If you’re a faint-at-Heartney, #positivevibesonly kind of fan or simply unwilling to consider the many other factors that may have played into making this decision, this particular Emergency Episode of It’s Britney, Bitch! probably isn’t the one to check out. Call us heartless – we really don’t care. It’s our prerogative.

That said, if you’d like to hear a very open and honest dialogue between me and T. Kyle about The State of Britney in 2019, solely with the Living Legend’s best interests at heart, then go ahead and dive on in. We’ll…see you soon.
