Dev is the singer that you know and love from the Far East Movement‘s “Like A G6,” one of the few songs of the year that managed to be both (A) unavoidable and (B) amazing.
Now, she has another track out. It is called “Bass Down Low.”
Here are the various reasons you should know about it:
+ The song includes a most fantastic line/call to arms: “I like my beats fast and my bass down low.” If that isn’t a defining statement of purpose meant for every club kid and sorority girl’s Facebook status, I don’t know what is.
+ Like “Like A G6,” “Bass Down Low” features many ‘hip’ terms and sassy slang which is fun to say out loud. For instance, “urryday feel like muh burthday.”
+ The video is pretty neat, what with the whole hi-def-freeze-stop-okay-now-go-again editing, but the truly amazing part takes place against the wall around the 2:40 mark when Dev and her lady friends begin to pop and lock their boobies all over the place. (WATCH)
+ It’s a juicy booty bouncer. Who needs to hear more convincing?
