By now, you should already be familiar with my good friend Belanger, who’s been supplying incredible official remixes for some of my favorite pop princesses, including Zendaya‘s “Replay,” Demi Lovato‘s “Heart Attack” and “Neon Lights” — as well as “Confess,” that sickening Britney mash-up with My Digital Enemy.
This week, he’s just dropped his very own original: “Calico.”
It’s a sleek, atmospheric instrumental haunt filled with pumping beats and icy electronic stings, and it’s already been featured on BBC Radio 1’s The Late Night Chameleon Club with B.Traits. It’s got that kind of chilly urban-R&B beat that wouldn’t sound too out of place on a Cassie record…so obviously, I’m all in. (Someone supply some diva vocals on this one, stat!)
This is only the start of things to come in 2014. Get it, get it. (Kitty, kitty!)
