The Very Amazing Remixes of Selena Gomez’s “Come & Get It”

Selena Gomez Come & Get It

Selegendary Gomezmerizing is about to make us both hit the lights and trip the light fantastic.

The “Love You Like A Love Song” pop princess first got us breaking a sweat back in April with the premiere her sulty summer seduction anthem, “Come & Get It.” She then caused the Earth’s water supply to quickly evaporate—leading to a year without rain, naturally—thanks to the unbelievably stunning, floral and flowing garb-filled accompanying video last week.

Now, Miss Gomez has set her heavenly eyes on the dance floor with a slew of remixes guaranteed to have her skyrocketing to the top position on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Songs chart in no time. Like, easily.

The remix package includes phenomenal reinterpretations from the likes of Cahill (who recently put out that amazing track with Kimberley Locke), DJ Laszio and DJ M3.

Highlights are frequent, including the unbelievably twerk-tastic Jump Smokers remix, the scorching House synths of the Liam Keegan remix, the psychotic, dub-ish Robert DeLong remix (which briefly conjures nightmarish Spring Breakers flashbacks), and the tranced out Cosmic Dawn remix—who I previously loved up for his amazing remix of Rihanna‘s “Pour It Up.”

And then, there’s the mix by French House production master, Fred Falke, responsible for All Amazing Remixes, including Annie‘s “Anthonio,” Gossip‘s “Heavy Cross” and his most holy mix of Ricki-Lee‘s “Do It Like That.” His 8 minute (!) club contribution is, as always, luscious and warm—full of dreamy synthesizers and one hell of a nasty drop. Heaven.

They’re all off the chain, quite frankly—so much so, you’ll be slapping on a bindi and serving up your best Bollywood-inspired hip swivels on the dance floor in no time. Seriously, they’re great.

So when you’re ready, come and spin it. Na, na, na, na…

The “Come & Get It” Remix EP will be released on May 28. (iTunes)
