“Every Little Word”: MNEK Gets Every Little Bit Right On Major Label Debut

Oh, MyNEK.

Multi-hyphenate UK prodigy MNEK has gone from producing smashes for the likes of The Saturdays, Little Mix and Kylie Minogue to becoming a bonafide solo star of his own with “Every Little Word,” a funky dose of next-level production magic — and the first official taste of his highly awaited debut LP.

The song alone is sonic ear candy; a dizzying blend of R&B, pop, funk and electronica (bells! synthesizers! KEY CHANGE!), and the accompanying visual offers just as much to keep your eyes fully satiated.

The video revolves around MNEK — err, quite literally. (So if you get seasick, I highly suggest you brace yourself against something sturdy.)

Watch as MNEK confidently struts and shimmies his way through the infectious jam, joined by what are either a bunch of GAP commercial extras or the cast of Feist‘s “1234” video, Madonna‘s “Like A Prayer” choir and classy ladies armed with classy silverware.

I, for one, fuck to this shit.

“Every Little Word” was released on April 21. (iTunes UK)
