As I was debating the legitimacy of Britney‘s musical talent with a friend of mine (what else does one do at two in the morning?), I was reminded of the time that Brit was featured playing “Everytime” in a documentary for ABC in 2003 before the release of In The Zone.
This is actually one of my very favorite Britney moments. It’s so honest. Just her singing and playing….beautifully, no less! She even talks about writing “Everytime” and talks about writing songs, as though it were something she did often. I wish we could see more of that…
Sigh…I want Britney to write again. Yes, there’s “My Baby,” but…“Let Go”? Gimme, gimme more.
