Jessie and The Toy Boys Performs “Push It” On Conan

YES, MAMA!

Jessie And The Toy Boys took to the stage of Conan for her first ever live television performance last Thursday night. And guess what? THE BITCH NAILED IT.

Decked out in a skin-tight ’80’s-tastic leotard and surrounded by some of her favorite Toy Boys (where do I get one of those?), the California crooner whipped up a fierce, frantic rendition of her debut single “Push It”–just one of the tracks set to appear on her brand new EP released tomorrow: Show Me Your Tan Lines.

She’s really delivering all she’s got here: Live vocals! Hair flips! Dance breakdowns galore! She’s giving us m-a-j-o-r pop–and I love it!

As I said when I first saw her perform live in NYC last month, there’s just something about Jessie’s live performances (well, aside from the leotard) that fills the stage with the same tongue-in-cheek bubblegum-pop energy of a 2008 Gaga performance.

Jessie will now be heading out all summer with Britney Spears on the Femme Fatale Tour, and I cannot wait to join in on that arena-wide dance party when I finally catch her out on the road. Great job, Jessie!

Show Me Your Tan Lines was released on June 14. (iTunes)
