Garbage Returns With New Website, Announces Title of Upcoming Album
ALL HAIL GARBAGE!
After a nearly seven year hiatus, the electrifying alt-rock outfit known as Garbage is finally back.
The troupe just uploaded the first official video teaser from the upcoming self-released album, in which the band members talks about their new record (the operative word here being “optimistic”) while posing for a photo shoot. To my delight, the ever-amazing Shirley Manson‘s looking every inch the venomous rock vixen I was hoping to see!
Along with the video, the band also unveiled their brand new website, including a brief note to fans. An excerpt:
We haven’t put out a record in a very long time. 7 long years to be precise. We will endeavor to keep this page accurate and honest. That is our pledge to you. Meanwhile this is a lightning in a bottle moment for us. We know it. Hope you feel it too.
Along with the site launch, the band also included a word scramble to enter to win tickets for their upcoming tour and reveal the title of the upcoming album. It’s since been taken down due to a server overload, but my good friend Trent over at Pink Is The New Blog was quick enough to catch it immediately. The title? The very, very wicked…
NOT YOUR KIND OF PEOPLE.
Are you ready for the return of Miss Manson and the gang? I sure am.
