Something glittery this way comes.
Remember when Dr. Luke became the Great Snippet Master of Britney‘s Femme Fatale campaign, and we all stayed home on the weekends hungrily refreshing his Soundcloud page in the hope that he might leak another 20 seconds of B’s next grand masterpiece? (No, just me?) Well, he’s teasing us again–and this time, it’s with Ke$ha.
This morning, the stellar pop producer spilled a brand new 40-second snippet from a newly recorded session with the trash-pop princess (possibly called “Super” or “Supernatural”)–and it’s MASSIVE.
“When you take my body to the stars, I believe it/Boy, this love is supernatural. Can you feel it?” the sleazy songstress slowly yelps before diving into a filthy, primal (Femme Fatale-ish) beat breakdown. Once an animal, always an animal!
This, like everything else we’ve heard so far–from her trippy acid-rock sessions with The Flaming Lips‘ Wayne Coyne to the recently leaked drag anthem “Pretty Lady”–sounds absolutely incredible. It’s got all the makings of a classic K$ anthem but with a more serious edge, which follows in line with Ke$ha’s description of the upcoming album as more “vulnerable.”
K$’s grand pop revolution is set to commence later this year. Is your body ready?
