Beyonce Performs “I Was Here” at UN General Assembly for World Humanitarian Day

Beyonce, Child of Destiny and Mother of Blue Ivy, has just released the official video for her performance of “I Was Here” at the UN General Assembly, which was filmed on August 10 in celebration of World Humanitarian Day (that was yesterday, by the way–don’t you feel like an ass for missing it now?)

Never one to shy away from a good ol’ massive projection, Lady Bey performed her gorgeous Diane Warren-penned track from 4 in front of a massive white tarp, which was filled with massive images and video of natural disasters and humanitarian aid from across the world.

Prepare for chills. Also, do a mitzvah: Save babies and help people, please.
