There was a moment there last year when UK indie-pop songstress Lily Allen announced that whenever she finally released new music, she’d go by her married name, Lily Rose Cooper. It was a deeply troubling time for all of us — but mostly just for our iTunes libraries.
But that’s all changed, it seems.
Moments ago, Lily Rose Cooper reverted back to Lily Allen on Twitter with two tweets:
Hello, im Lily Allen, http://t.co/ZMzFgAR2Cg .
— Lily Allen (@lilyallen) August 30, 2013
and, I'm coming back, bitches. http://t.co/ZMzFgAR2Cg

We’ve known as early as last April that she was back in the studio. Most recently, she suggested the new material might come along in March 2014 — and now, it will all become clear (REFERENCE). Lily’s newly revamped, slick-looking site is pretty minimal for now, with just a section to watch videos and listen to tunes. But there’s also an e-mail sign-up — “to get new album news first.”
Don’t be taken over by the fear — she’s coming soon.
It’s Not Me, It’s You was released in February of 2009. (iTunes)
