Apparently I’m the last Björk fan on Earth to catch this one, but it bears immediate posting.
Please watch this vintage clip of Björk explaining the scientific intricacies of the all-but-extinct twentieth century invention known as the “television,” which basically involves tiny globes of light, space aliens, an elevator, and an adorable Icelandic tattoo that grabs my attention more than anything she’s talking about. Wait, what?
The moral of the story is: Don’t let poets lie to you. BUT DON’T YOU SEE?! SHE HERSELF IS A POET. So meta.
