Ellie Goulding Covers Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In The World)” on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge

I’m dying.

Ellie Goulding just delivered a S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G orchestral rendition of Rihanna‘s mega-smash “Only Girl (In The World)” during this morning’s Live Lounge on Radio 1. (LISTEN)

It is so many things, but above all, it is brilliant.

Why? Because Ellie’s signature warbling vocal style flips the song completely on its head, turning Rihanna’s confident battle cry into a pleading, nearly sorrowful affair. Incredible!

VIVA LA HOT PIE.
