There’s no debut record I’m more feverishly anticipating than that of golden-haired Goddess, fashion darling and inappropriately talented 19-year-old singer-songwriter, Sky Ferreira. (My love is well-documented.)
Finally, Ferreira’s just given us an extended taste of her long awaited new music: “Red Lips,” which was produced by Greg Kurstin and co-written by Ferreira and a little known songwriter named…Shirley Manson.
Below is a 1-minute unmastered snippet of the upcoming song, which more or less sounds like a most slay-worthy Garbage track, Sky style–her very own “Cherry Lips (Go Baby Go),” if you will. “Your numbers up, if you like it or not/What a shock,” she coolly declares on the crashing chorus.
The video drops tomorrow via Terry Richardson. And from the looks of things, all I can see is red, red, red…
