The nice thing about Marina and The Diamonds releasing the very amazing “Power & Control”–one of my favorite songs from her latest studio album, Electra Heart–is that very amazing remixes are bound to follow.
Here now is the Krystal Klear re-rub of “Power & Control,” which takes the almighty original, throws it in a time machine and sends it straight onto the glitter-strewn dance floors in 1992. With its bright keys, warm, throbbing House pulsations and a fierce energy that’d have Dannii jumping to the beat, the Manchester-based remixer’s take on Marina’s latest single is all shades of strut-tastic.
So go ahead: Put down your copy of 50 Shades of Grey and sashay away!
