Miley is on fire. (Just ask Britney.)
Ever since her 1-2 punch to pop culture — the tonguey, twerky VMA performance, followed by the Terry Richardson-directed video for “Wrecking Ball” — the Artist Formerly Known as Hannah Montana has quickly become the premiere pop starlet discussed ’round office water coolers everywhere.
Yesterday, Mileybird revealed four additional covers of Bangerz across four different websites, which will be released to retailers randomly across the world. Smilers can now vote on their favorite cover to become the official deluxe edition cover. (Also, you can make your own Bangerz cover, which is truly pretty kewl.)
“Liam who?”

“DAD! STAHHHHHHHHHP.”
“Every Rose Has Its Twerk”
One of the covers — the nude one, obviously — is available directly from Miley’s online shop, along with a limited edition picture disc vinyl — because if twerking conjures anything, it’s nostalgia.
And then, there’s “Wrecking Ball.” It’s the #1 song in the country right now! Miley’s first Billboard Hot 100 #1!
From Billboard:
The song becomes Cyrus’ first No. 1 on the chart, blasting 22-1 on the strength of lofty streaming and sales totals following the release of its much buzzed-about video.
Miley Cyrus smashes her way to her first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1, as “Wrecking Ball” rockets 22-1 with top Streaming and Sales Gainer honors. The song knocks Katy Perry’s “Roar” out of the top spot after two weeks.
Cyrus previously rose as high as No. 2 on the Hot 100 with two songs: prior single “We Can’t Stop” and 2009’s “Party in the U.S.A.”
Finally, there’s her upcoming MTV documentary The Movement, which follows the singer’s transition into adulthood as she takes the reigns and confidently shapes her career (and gives us her best Madonna Truth Or Dare impression while doing so).
There’s also a brief cameo by her “SMS” BFF, The Legendary Miss Britney Spears, who blesses the “We Can’t Stop” songstress with a “Yeah!” and a nervous chuckle while sitting inside a recording studio. Praise her light.
Bring on the Bangerz.
Bangerz will be released on October 8. (iTunes)
