It feels like it’s been forever and a day since we last saw RiRi performing on TV, right Navy?
Then again, I just crave more Rihanna. All the time. Always.
Taking a break being shading other singers on Twitter for a moment, the Illuminati Instagram Navy Commander visited the always enjoyable Alan Carr‘s Chatty Man for a hysterical interview (in which she brutally sasses the bartender), as well as the first-ever television performance of her latest Unapologetic single, “What Now.”
Dubious mullet aside (not #pheelin this particular ‘do so much, babe!), Rih was looking all sorts of smoldering in a checkered jacket and leather leggings while delivering her latest mega-ballad, giving us loads of confident #PhuckYoFaves stage presence and some genuinely emotional delivery in front of giant blasts of fire. (Side note: She probably could have gone directly into a “Fire Bomb” performance. A boy can dream!) Also, those vocals? She’s obviously been touring for the past few months, because she sounded completely on point. Go, Rih!
Best moment? “I’m supposed to be in love? Yeah, right…”
This is just the start of the “What Now” journey: If you scroll past the Teyana Taylor shade, you’ll see that the Talk That Talk Princess has Instagramming in Thailand for the past few weeks shooting the video for “What Now” — and breaking the law while doing so.
Come here rude loris loris, is you illegal enough?
“What Now” was released on September 17. (iTunes)
