If there’s anything that X Factor UK excels at, apart from churning out legitimately massive pop acts like Leona Lewis, One Direction and Cher Lloyd — it’s drama. Gobs of campy, over-the-top drama.
Accordingly, the new teaser for the upcoming season of X Factor — which boasts Spice Girls Scary Spice legend Mel B and the return of Girls Aloud alum and The Artist Formerly Known As Cheryl Cole, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini — takes the TV talent competition and turns it into an epic, Game Of Thrones-esque war between all four judges.
Between Mel’s ferocious yelp of “Charge!” and Chezza’s heart-stopping wink, there’s no doubt that I’ll be returning to watch the show this season. (I mean, hello…every Cheryl reaction is a GIF in waiting.)
Plus, there are these whispers about a potential Girls Aloud vs. Spice Girls-themed night, which sounds like the most spiritually fulfilling viewing experience of my entire life.
