Premiere: Ella Henderson, “Yours (Wideboys Remix)”

Time and time again — from Leona Lewis to Rebecca Ferguson to One DirectionX Factor UK has produced some of the world’s greatest pop acts.

Two years ago, “Living Without You” goddess Tulisa mentored a very talented mini-diva named Ella Henderson in the show’s ninth series, who — despite being ousted from the show prematurely — commanded an incredible voice at a very young age.

It’s clear that the public wasn’t done with her just yet: After taking some time off to write and record, Ella dropped her critically acclaimed debut Chapter One in October, which shot to #1 on the UK Albums Chart (and Top 10 in almost 40 countries), as did the thunderous lead single “Ghost,” which has gone on to become one of the highest selling singles of 2014. Mercifully, she’s not keeping the music across the pond — err, river — for much longer: The album’s now heading stateside for a US release on January 13. (She also just performed on Ellen!)

But back to Ella’s UK duties: Following the release of her follow-up Top 10 single (“Glow”), the singer’s about to drop her next single on December 14, “Yours.” From Ella: “I wrote ‘Yours’ to represent something beautiful that’s going on in my world right now. Being able to strip everything back to just me and the piano allows me to simply speak through my music.”

The piano-led original is a soothing, endlessly romantic winter gem. But what if you’re ready to love…and dance? Great news! Ahead of the single’s release, MuuMuse is premiering the Wideboys remix of “Yours” which, true to form, converts the piano-led tune into a throbbing floor-filler.

Give the production duo’s pulsating take on Ella’s tune a go — and make sure to keep your eyes peeled when she drops that debut in America early next year.

“Yours” will be released on December 14. (iTunes UK)
