I’m still trying to properly formulate my thoughts into a semi-cohesive state regarding this stunning achievement of an album. As of yet, nothing’s coming out right.
In the meantime, I thought I’d post a particularly scrumptious morsel from Junior that’s held my interest for far longer than a normal album track ever normally would.
Simply speaking, “You Don’t Have A Clue” is a gorgeous number; ethereal, pensive, and all the other ingredients needed for the makings of a supreme dream-pop thumper.
The lyrics are especially striking to me, which is why I took to typing them out by ear. Well, not literally with my ear, but rather with the help of it. I can’t claim them as perfect by any means, though I think it’s mostly all correct.
If not, comment or e-mail me ASAP with corrections.
Perhaps you too will find this to be a rather emotional, if not slightly sinister, torch song for the ages.
