Kelly Clarkson Didn’t Quite Get What She Wanted.

Well, sort of. Check out this briefly stimulating interview from MSN’s The Hook, where Clarkson discusses her new record’s origins and dreams for the future.

Spoiler Alert: The album was originally called All I Ever Wanted, but she was thinking of going for the name Masquerade. Once P!nk released Funhouse and Britney went with Circus, she sort of just said “feh” about the whole thing and went back to All I Ever Wanted.

Oh, and her dream is to record a big band album, a la Ella Fitzgerald and Rosemary Clooney. Need I remind you of what a Big Band Kelly Clarkson record would sound like?

ALL I EVER WANTED, INDEED.
