Last week, TIME Magazine‘s Most Influential Artist In The History of Ever and 2013 MTV VMA nominee Legendtina Christina María Mi Reflejo Nina Pinta Santamaria Desnudate Aguilera unveiled the already iconic video for her La Tempestad theme song, “Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti,” which subsequently rendered all other Spanish language music irrelevant upon its release. (Oh, and Alejandro Fernández sings on it too, or whatever.)
While the visuals alone are undeniably stunning, I know that there are many true lovers of music out there who do not share Legendtina’s Latina roots — fans who may never really know the true meaning of Mi Reflejo.
And so, fearing that some may not fully grasp the meaning of “Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti,” I decided to invest in several dictionaries, a few personal translators and a fully staffed web editing team to bring you this: “Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti” — with English subtitles.
Enjoy, and remember: Buy Lotus.
“Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti” was released on May 10. (iTunes)
