LEGENDTINA NEWS NETWORK (New Orleans, LA) – “Do What U Want” saving grace, La Tempestad theme song belter and newly VEVO-certified “Your Body” icon Legendtina Maria Nina Desnudate Goduilera will be heading down to Louisiana this Spring to headline at the 2014 New Orleans Jazz Fest.

Often cited as the original jazz revivalist in modern pop music [citation needed], the GRAMMY-award winning diva’s love of jazz music culminated with her 2006 album Back To Basics, which famously incorporated the genre into worldwide smashes like “Ain’t No Other Man,” “Candyman” and “F.U.S.S” — all of which are now available on iTunes.

“I hardly even know what to SAY!” Legendtina gasped when asked to describe her love of jazz during an Excluusive phone interview with the LNN. “Honestly, it’s an advanced genre. You really have to be a true lover of jazz to appreciate my work,” she revealed. “Nowadays, you’ve got these artists making dance music — something I did already with ‘Keeps Gettin’ Better’ in 2008 — and it’s just not very forward-thinking. I like to encourage my fans to think for themselves…to reach down deep inside, find the voice within and just embrace their inner Nasty Naughty Boy.”

And does she have any favorite jazz-related memories from her career?

“Oh, so many memories!” Legendtina cackled. “Recording ‘A Song For You’ with Herbie Hotcock and ‘Steppin’ Out’ with Tony Benedict…such beautiful and talented fans of my work. It was an honor, I’m sure.”

With the Bionic/Lotus Mrs. Goduilera World Tour Experience temporarily on hold for 2014 (“we’re trying to find venues big enough for all the fans…I’m not just going to do a few nights at Roseland Ballroom or something,” she reveals), Legendtina felt the time was right to begin headlining at festivals across the country.

Officials from Jazz Fest tell us that they “did not know” the Bionic goddess was making an appearance at the festival, only finding out upon seeing her name scrawled in Blu-Red LipSense lipstick on a mirror in their conference room. However, they are “thrilled” to hear that she has chosen to “forcefully attend.” Said one eager fan on the board: “Is she the one that did that song with Maroon 5? Oh, I love that Adam Levine!”

The jazz world awaits with bated, brassy breath.
