Karen Harding’s “Say Something” B-Side, “Those Girls,” Is Great Too

Karen Harding continues to impress.

Last week, the rising UK siren’s sensational MNEK-produced debut single, “Say Something” — which was one of the more promising songs to come at the tail-end of 2014 — finally went shooting up the UK Top 40 Singles Chart straight to #7. (It’s all #11 now this week — still good!)

And as it turns out, “Say Something” isn’t the only killer tune included in the release.

“Those Girls” is the single’s B-side and, like the House-infused A-side, sees the promising siren heading down to the disco, this time to the sound of more warm keys and a shuffling, summery electronic pulse. “They’re just gonna lead you on/Why don’t cha know it?” she croons along the GRADES-helmed track, which was co-penned with the ever-charming, ever-talented Tom Aspaul, of “Good Together” fame. A winning team of music-makers, if I’ve ever heard of one.

Check out the lyric video for “Those Girls” up top — and if you like it, say something.

“Say Something” was released on January 25. (iTunes UK)
