Who’s sleep? Tinashe doesn’t know her.
Having already dropped that kitty down low with Ty Dolla $ign and Charli XCX, toured across the world with Aquarius and prepped the video for her soon-to-be club-dominating “All Hands On Deck” (not to mention her homemade clips for “Aquarius” and “Bated Breath”) all in the past few weeks, the “Feels Like Vegas” phenom is now returning to her roots and hitting us with yet another mixtape.
Following In Case We Die, Reverie and last year’s Black Water, the singer-songstress will release Amethyst on March 16, which will premiere on HotNewHipHop and feature 7 new songs.
Tinashe’s at her best when she’s left to her own devices, which is why the DIY mixtape model has worked so well for her in the past. Why Amethyst? It’s the birthstone of Aquarians born in February. That Aquarius reign lives on!
And, because I spent a fair amount of time shopping for crystals with my friends during my vacation and/or spiritual reawakening in LA last week, here’s a brief description of the purple crystal’s powers: “Amethyst is a meditative and calming stone which works in the emotional, spiritual, and physical planes to provide calm, balance, patience, and peace.”
