“L.A. Love (La La)”: Fergie Returns With A Geography Lesson

Fergie, she of Black Eyed Peas fame, is officially back at it once again.

Eight years after the release of her debut solo record The Dutchess, the G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S (yes) chanteuse has returned with “L.A. Love (La La)” — and you’d better have a map ready.

With DJ Mustard on the beat (ho), Fergie Ferg keeps things squarely in hip-pop territory just as she did nearly a decade ago (but with fresher beats), spitting above a murky “2 On”-ish #SomethingMoreUrban beat while delivering a series of shout-outs to every city, state and country ’round the globe that you (may or may not) already know.

Like…literally all of the lyrics are just locations, including but not limited to:

– The West Coast, including LA, SoCal, Hollywood and The Slums
– The East Coast, including New York and Brooklyn
– London
– Brazil, including São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro
– Quebec
– Russia, including Moscow
– Venice
– Las Vegas
– Atlanta
– Kansas City
– Manila
– India
– Tokyo
– Amsterdam
– Spain, including Ibiza
– San Francisco
– Mexico
– Stockholm
– La Punta
– Texas
– Germany
– France, including Paris
– Down Under
– Miami
– Jamaica, including Kingston
– Puerto Rico
– Switzerland

Cartographers, GPS devices and members of the UN are certainly going to stan. Will you?
