No, Sky Ferreira doesn’t have any news about Masochism just yet, but she does have a new music video out today (Sept. 3) — and she’s a MOM.
Earlier this summer, Sky supplied an unsurprisingly great cover of Lionel Richie‘s 1977 hit “Easy” for Commodores for the soundtrack of the film Baby Driver.
Along with providing the song, Sky also assumes the role of the mother of central character Baby, played by Ansel Elgort.
As for her own character’s fate? Well, not too many spoilers, but as Sky wrote: “It’s a lil tragic.”
The “Easy” cover was produced by Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Beck), and co-arranged by Sky and John Anderson. The music video was shot by the Baby Driver director, Edgar Wright.
Finally, all of you shouting “MOM!” at her in the Instagram comments can further feel the fantasy.
