Selena Gomez Teases 30 Seconds of “Come & Get It,” World Remains Unprepared

HIT THE LIGHTS AND SIT THE FUCK DOWN.

Selegenda Gomezmerizing, Goddess of Rain and Love Songs, is just a mere days away now from her return to the music scene with her new single, “Come & Get It” (which is neither a Dannii Minogue cover nor an ode to Rachel Stevens–but that’s fine.)

After teasing the cover art (very In The Zone font-meets-“Scream & Shout” promo, really), and about 10 seconds of an instrumental earlier in the week, the radiant “Round & Round” songstress has graced us with a 30-second taste of the new track—and it sounds quite major so far.

“This love will be the death of me, but I know I’ll die happily,” she cries out above a moody, slow-building Bollywood-infused beat. ROMANTIC! DRAMA! Perfection. #ARTPOP. And of course, as soon as that chorus is about to break—GAH! A bonafide pop blue baller of a tease.

When the sun goes down on April 7, the Selegend reign (rain) will come once again. I suggest you bring an umbrella.
